Delilah Miami, with plush 1920s-style interiors, is a just-opened modern-day supper club with a vintage beat. After dinner, diners can enjoy a live jazz band.

The restaurant, the latest Delilah outpost from the L.A.-based h.wood Group, is now in the city’s Brickell neighborhood. Known as Miami’s financial district, it’s also a hub for dining, arts and entertainment, as well as luxury hotels and condos.

The Brickell Avenue Bridge spans the Miami River, boasting views of the waterfront Miami Circle archeological site.

"Delilah Miami embodies the decadence, glamour and sophistication of the Jazz Age to create a dining and entertainment experience unlike any other in the city today," said John Terzian, co-founder of The h.wood Group.

The restaurant’s color palette — light pink, teal and gold — is augmented by caricatures from artist Blue Logan, which adorn the walls, menus and lamps and include local Miami legends.

The menu is courtesy of executive chef Daniel Roy, who infuses the cuisine with with Latin-inspired flavors and ingredients, such as coconut and lychee, paying homage to the city's cultural heritage. Other menu highlights include crispy duck confit, suckling pig and Cubano fritters.

With easy access to the Metromover, it’s fairly easy to get around Brickell and Downtown Miami. The area has lots of bars and an active nightlife, such as the El Tucán nightclub. To feed its soccer fever, Miami has Soccer Rooftop, a lively pair of turf soccer fields on the roof of a Brickell building.

Art lovers can check out The Bass, which focuses on modern art, and Lowe Art Museum’s historical art from around the world. The Wolfsonian-FIU concentrates on functional art and design, while the Pérez Art Museum Miami, specializes in postwar and contemporary art. To escape the city bustle, the nearly 8 acres of Simpson Park Hammock offers a quiet, cool respite.
