Sail Away: AeroVanti Yacht Club Launches
By Eli Siegel
Sailing just got more exclusive.
AeroVanti Yacht Club has launched, offering members a luxury experience at sea.
Charters begin March 31, 2023.
The yacht club, based in Tampa/St. Petersburg, Florida, has a fleet of three vessels. The Casino Royale is a 108-foot Sunseeker Predator. James Bond fans will know it from the movie “Casino Royale,” as it was home to 007’s arch-villain. The focus is comfort, but the yacht is also known for its agility.
The “Permit” is a 50-foot Buddy Davis sport-fishing boat that features a fighting chair from the storied fishing boat, “The Hooke.”
For those who want an experience reminiscent of The Rolex Cup, members can choose the En Garde, a 50-foot Cookson sailboat that sails competitively for the AeroVanti Sailing Team, but can be chartered for guests who want to recreate the racing experience.
“We launched AeroVanti because we believe you can experience both luxury and value in private aviation,” said AeroVanti founder-CEO Patrick Britton-Harr. He says the company has “set out to completely redefine the modern yacht club.”
The AeroVanti Yacht Club carries a $995 monthly fee; daily or weekly charters are offered at reduced rates. It’s $2,995 a day for Casino Royale, with full staff and amenities.
Since launching in July 2021, AeroVanti claims a 400% growth rate. It also created exclusive partnerships with the University of Maryland, University of Central Florida, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
AeroVanti was named a 2023 “startup to watch” by the Baltimore Business Journal and the Tampa Bay Business Journal.
